How to stop feeling lost and rebuild self-worth in 6 weeks

You might be feeling…
- Much less confident than you used to — even in situations that once felt easy
- Unsure of trusting yourself, what you want and the direction you are going
- Scared of uncertainty and what the future may bring — fearing change.
- Ready for something to shift — but not sure where to start
Trust me, you are not lacking in strength or willpower. Feeling uncertain and full of doubt is a normal human reaction when you’ve spent years adapting, performing, and being who you thought you needed to be.
But the good news is, you can change.
You feel lost
If you’re the one holding everything together, showing up for everyone else, and ploughing on regardless, you might find that, along the way, you’ve stopped feeling like yourself.
Maybe you’ve started second-guessing your decisions. Overthinking conversations. Saying yes when you really mean no. Or wondering when you began shrinking instead of showing up as the person you really are.
If you’re in your 50s or 60s and you feel lost after years working hard and raising a family whilst putting yourself last — this is for you.
I know this feeling well
I’m Birgitta – a clinical hypnotherapist, integrative counsellor and coach based in London. I’ve spent years working with clients who, from the outside, look like they have it all together, but on the inside, they feel like they’ve lost sight of where they are going.
The version of me in my 30s didn’t think much about self-worth; I just kept going and hoped it would take me in the right direction. It was only much later, after raising a family, that I discovered what it actually meant to understand myself and my own nervous system.
I went on to discover what was stopping me from living life truly and authentically, and what I found out helped me create The Midlife Confidence Reset. It is the same therapeutic approach I use with my one-to-one clients. It’s not just a theory, it’s real work that genuinely changes people’s lives.
