Is anxiety controlling your life? Do you long to feel calm, confident and in control?

Anxiety related conditions can show up in so many areas in life. You may be sleeping badly or not at all, ruminating incessantly about the past or worrying about the future – perhaps finding it difficult or even impossible to make even the smallest of decisions. When your confidence takes a knock it could affect your important relationships with loved ones which can leave you feeling lonely and isolated.

Perhaps you have tried to cope by distracting yourself with things that make you feel better short term, like over-eating,  drinking too much or spending more time than usual on social media to help calm your busy mind from racing.

If this sounds familiar then hypnotherapy may be just what you need to help get your mojo back. When you come to see me we focus on your preferred future, without dwelling excessively on your past, to help you move towards a happier and healthier way of life. To change the underlying story you have been telling yourself.

I use a combination of talk therapy based on the latest neuroscience, CBT, NLP, SFBT as well as hypnosis, which is a calm and wonderful state of focused attention, similar to day dreaming, where we can access the part of your brain which is receptive to changing negative thinking habits and behaviour. This helps you create brand new and more positive ways of thinking.

I work with clients on a range of issues such as stress & anxiety, depression, insomnia, exam stress, fear of public speaking, weight management, self confidence and motivation to name a few.

‘My sessions with Birgitta have been a life changing. I used to get really cross with most people, especially my kids, and I was always anxious, feeling I had not done enough. Through hypnosis with Birgitta I have learned that only I am in charge of my future and that my thoughts shape my reality. I love, love, love the deep relaxation and will come back for a top up when life gets the better of me. Thank you.’
